Kelly and Jihea were going to have a competition who collected the most apples at a farm that Jihea’s grandfather owned. Jihea had 12 apples. Jihea had three fifths of two more than Kelly had. How many apples did Kelly have?

  2. We think that you have a grammar mistake. In the sentence "Jihea had 12 apples. Jihea had three fifths of two more than Kelly had.", you have to put the more than in front of the three fifths. It is very creative, you should revise your problem.

  3. Interesting story but, the sentence "Jihea had 12 apples. Jihea had three fifths of two more than Kelly had..." is hard to understand and doesn't give enough information. Maybe you guys should say "Jihea has 12 apples, Jihea has three fifths times the sum of Kelly's apples and 2. GOOD LUCK

  4. This is a very good equation! The whole story of the equation is creative with words that give hints to solve the equation. However, the wording on the part where Jihea had three fifths of two more than Kelly had was a bit confusing to make an equation. The equation is short and simple. Great Job!
